Permanent capital, independent perspective
Six asset classes. One investment philosophy. We go where our research, relationships, and conviction take us.
Venture Capital
Early-stage bets on founders we know and technologies we believe in. We’ve spent enough time inside large organizations to know that great products don’t sell themselves — we look for founders who understand both the problem they’re solving and how it actually gets adopted in the real world.
Real Estate
Focused on commercial real estate at a scale just below institutional radar — where relationships with owners and brokers still matter more than auction processes. We favor assets with stable tenants and value-add potential, backed by a technology-driven management approach focused on marketing, financial discipline, and a long time horizon.
Public Markets
Our largest allocation. We maintain broad index exposure as a foundation and take tactical positions where we see the market underestimating the durability of entrenched businesses — their ability to adapt, retain customers, and outlast the pessimism cycle.
Operating Businesses
Lower middle market businesses across industrial, consumer, and other sectors where operational insight creates value. Our experience advising firms across industries gives us pattern recognition for what drives margin and durability, and our deal flow comes through a network of operators and sponsors who know what we bring beyond capital.
Energy
Oil and gas investments alongside experienced operators who acquire, optimize, and develop producing assets in premier U.S. basins. Energy is the building block for everything else in the economy — we like the fundamentals, the cash flows, and our access to institutional-grade operators through our investment networks.
Special Situations
Investments that don’t fit neatly into traditional categories — emerging asset classes, alternative stores of value, and unconventional structures. The best opportunities often live at the edges, where informed taste and patient conviction find value before the broader market catches up.
The long arc of compounding
The best investment decisions come from humility about what you don’t know, conviction about what you do, and the patience to let great assets compound. Our approach isn’t defined by a single strategy — it’s defined by the discipline to refine our thinking, stay committed through volatility, and nurture the relationships that bring us our best opportunities.
